Step 1

 

Grind 20 - 22 grams of coffee as fine as you would for an espresso.

 

Step 2

 

Heat filtered water and straight from the boil, fill the base of your Stovetop. 

 

Step 3

 

Fill the pot's filter basket with the ground coffee and shake to settle the grounds evenly. Now place it into the bottom compartment. 

 

Step 4

 

Screw on the pot's spouted top, be careful as the bottom part of the pot will be hot!

 

Step 5

 

Place the pot on the stove and set to medium heat.

 

Step 6

 

The pressure will cause the coffee to start streaming slowly into the upper chamber. When it is ready you will hear a hissing and bubbling sound. If it starts to explode upwards the water is too hot, and if it slowly burbles the heat needs turning up.
